This is a sawfly, there are several sawfly's - the one I think this is, is not meant to be in this county, well, according to my Collins Complete British Insects, it's not - but then, at the end of the day, what do these people know, unless they see or don't see them in every county on every part of their month they're *meant* to be seen in??? Anyone ever thought of that? ;-)

Food shopping today, short drive in the sunshine. Sad day too of course, first day by ourselves. I can't begin to describe my feelings of grief nor loneliness., plus I am extremely tired. So I'll end there xxx
