Quince time

My little quince tree is two years old and it has three quinces on it. So nearly time for me to make one little pot of membrillo to eat with delicious Manchego cheese.

Our two villages are buzzing with events this weekend....the Gransden Air Show, the WW2 tea party and a John Betjeman poetry evening. The air show made the local TV news last night as they warned people not to stop their cars in the road to watch the displays. Following last week's terrible accident in Shoreham they are taking extra care. Jack is looking forward to the Vulcan fly over.
