The Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route is already making its mark on the landscape, as here to the south of its eventual crossing of the minor road (and busy commuter route) that leads in and out of the City via Wester and Easter Ord, Blacktop, and Countesswells.

This being a Saturday afternoon, with no commuter traffic and with no work going on, another motorist has casually stopped here too to take a look at the current state of progress, while a cyclist heads energetically uphill in the direction of the City.
