Cornflowers & a Poppy

and there is a crop of something in there as well but I was/am in love with the cornflowers. I don't think I've ever seen so many of them growing in one place - there were thousands of them and they made me smile quite a lot.

We were out at the City Of Bears today for a bit of tall gardening. I can get quite high up the trees and cut dead stuff out and that was the Job For Today. It was quite satisfying - when the huuuuge branches (ok only about 4 metres long) come tumbling down, I enjoyed that a lot.

We were paid for our labours with tea, lemon sorbet & raspberries. I'd say that we were worth our hire.
