Hong Kong Island

I had to go over the to main island today to check out a hotel for a big celebration of our programme in October. We have now be going for ten years so we are planing a big event for students and staff. On my way to the hotel I spotted these wonderful reflections in this building. I could not resist.

When I entered the hotel these chandeliers were resplendent on the ceiling so my extra photo is of that.

One more day before teaching starts so still taking every opportunity to relax. I went swimming in the hotel pool this afternoon but was asked to leave because a thunderstorm was imminent. Shame really I was enjoying the empty pool.
