A Nice Surprise!

Oh my goodness!  When we returned home to Connecticut yesterday, this nice surprise was waiting for me.  Before we left for our trip to England, I rather timidly entered two of my pictures in the Photography competition at the Bridgewater Country Fair which is held every year in our town.  I completely forgot all about it as we tramped around stately homes and gorgeous English gardens, so I was really really pleased and surprised by these awards.  "Bathing Beauty" won first place, and "Night Falls" won second.  I even won $85.00 in prize money!
