Follow that buggy

Todays task was to get the bull in off the cows at the farm where we manage the livestock. They were very close to the handling system so not much of a walk to get them in. We took off the bull and his bullock friend and walked them to their field then walked the cows and calves through all the hill parks and out onto the hill. Then we went out to the back corner of the hill and moved all the young cattle out of their park.

Came home had some lunch wrote some bills then the phone rings, the bull and his bullock friend are no longer in their field. They seemed so settled this was a bit of a surprise. We went back to the farm and walked them down to their field to find the gate wide open. Why is it that some folk are incapable of operating gates?
