Stroud Fringe's Cornhill stage

Rosie, my sister, came up from Wiltshire to visit today and we went for lunch at a good pub on the commons near here.  The weather was drab with intermittent drizzle which seemed imminent at any time.

Before going home for tea we popped down to the Fringe Festival stage by the canal at Wallbridge.  This was the first time an event has been held there in its current form and we hope that this space can be kept a s public amenity for all.  Fingers crossed.  But there weren't too many people to make a good picture as we were a bit early.

We bumped into Sarah, one of the organisers, who said we should try the Sub Rooms forecourt, but by the time we reached it there was a break in proceedings.  So we went round another corner to the site of the Saturday Farmer's Market which had been made into a covered stage area.  I liked these children enjoying the space, the music and some relaxed adults.
