Why are the Seals so Close Inshore?
It was a puzzle yesterday as to why so many seals were up by the breakwater, and then looking upwards as they sensed movement. It's still a mystery, but I suspect that people have been throwing fish into the water, either off a boat coming in, or by fisherpeople with spare bait. The seals sure looked as though they were expecting to be fed. I guess the seals don't care, as long as the food keeps on coming - but it's not good for them to be dependant on it.
This is my entry for MonoMonday, mm83 - Secret. Thanks to TheAphid for hosting it this month.
