Whoops!

I had intended to do some volunteering at National Trust today but as I had a dental appointment in the morning I decided to spend the day in the garden instead.  I nearly always listen to a "talking book" CD when gardening and doing housework-it's a great alternative to reading books, which I love but seldom seem to have time for.  Unfortunately today I did some rather energetic pruning - and managed to cut the headphone wire in the process!   It took me a while to realise why I suddenly couldn't hear the book I was listening to.
