Settling in to Disneyland

It was Squidge's settling in day at preschool today and despite (our) nerves it couldn't really have gone any better.

I'd talked the place up and was worried I'd overdone it - she was expecting Disneyland but her to her it was Disneyland. Rooms full of toys, sandpits, dressing up boxes, paints, doll houses....you name it. She was in heaven and happily trotted off with one of the teachers to play in another room without us!

She didn't want to leave so we dragged her out in the end and home for lunch. Let's hope tomorrow goes as well! She'll be there all day without us.

Our new health visitor popped round to the house this afternoon and was lovely.

I worked this afternoon and eased myself back into a short working week with some admin and planning.
