Signet

I used the same title 364 days ago when I attended the Apex lecture which tonight was again held in the Signet Library. Tonight the speaker was Michael Matheson MSP and Cabinet Secretary for Justice. His speech was on a fair justice system.

Lots of positive messages about personalising support, alternatives to prison especially for women, and notification of consultations.

It was, as ever, a good opportunity to network as there was a good turnout for the lecture. I was not the last to leave (!) but the rear of the library was empty - a sight you don't often see.
