Ohinemutu Village

I collected Sally Mason from the airport this morning, she has flown in from Nelson and will be doing a presentation at Camera Club tonight, then starting a weekend workshop for 14 of our members on Friday night.
I have know Sally for many years after attending a weeks workshop with her and Canadian Freeman Patterson and another NZ photographer, Tony Bridge. So as you can imagine, I am delighted to be hosting her while she is in Rotorua.

Today's weather has been all seasons rolled in together, sunny, wind, rain and even some thunder. We checked out a few Rotorua places this morning and popped down to Ohinemutu Village in a thermal area on the shores of Lake Rotorua, a place where you feel you have stepped back in time. But had to be quick with photos before the rain came.
