Sax
In the park...part of a delicious afternoon beginning with an invite to lunch which involved the most amazing tomatoes, spicy noodles, a one word attempt at a definition of chinese culture, an unforgettable and wholly unfortunate taste of fish liver (don't, you'll thank me) and wonderful coffee...a delightful elderly gentleman with whom I offered only fractured mandarin and an idiots smile in return for his far superior English (woh potonghua bo xren hao) and then the sound of brass which turned out to be an absolutely delicious half hour or so listening and smiling with the aforementioned saxophonists...and as I slowly find the rhythms of the city I find it a friendly delight of a place...
