Glowing in the Light
Today has been a busy day with another meeting with the building and the woman from CIAS who is helping me. We waited for 20 minutes and builder hadn't turned up. I didn't have the builders number so rang the building office. It didn't take long and he was here but not with the plains. He said he was working around the corner and came straight away. We were told his planning dairy couldn't have be working as he check this morning and it said he had no meetings!
I was told he would drop of the plains etc late this afternoon or tomorrow morning.. they haven't turned up yet, so I will wait and see!
Then this afternoon I pick up my freind to go the spin class and afterward we went back to her place and had a good catch up. If it isn't raining in the morning we will be going to the fifth anniversary ceremony of the 7.1 earthquake at dawn in New Brighton. Five years ago at 4.35am tomorrow when the 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck was when my house was damaged beyond repair.
When I got home late this afternoon I took a walk down the street as I notice the ornamental pear trees were in full flower. The trees planted in the street when the street was redesigned not long before the earthquakes.
We had a wonderful sunny from late morning onwards, but there was a really cold wind blowing. It wasn't to have been a very good day but luckily it was.. weather wise!
