Vandalism.

I stopped off again in Aldbourne after work and popped into the village church. The church has so many interesting artefacts, but this tomb is the highlight.

The Goddard family tomb was thought to be vandalised by the 300 men of Cromwell's army who were staying in the church- notice that the arms and noses have been defaced.
