Anyone who had a heart!

Sophie's creations for her fledgling business Mosai Tesoro are going from strength to strength.  Here are just two of her latest works.  The heart is easy to understand - the universal symbol of love, but what beautiful colours.  The colours are created from molten metal inside of the glass and the finished products are really difficult to photograph because there is so much reflection coming from the glass in all directions. 

The second object is leaf shaped but it is also a new technique where not all of the metal is encased in glass so you get ridges across the surface which I have attempted to capture in the bottom two pictures.
