Castle Rock

Early morning and I found myself standing beside an American Woman for a good 5 minutes looking at the big rock and the building it bears. She asked about the North East. She hadn't heard of Aberdeen, or its Oil and Gas hay days and bad days. She lives in a desert, we live in a dreich. But not all the time. So I went into automatic pilot talking distilleries and castles, so that she might make it to see Aberdeenshire one day after all. We should be welcoming. But not just to tourists, but also to those in need and wanting to make a better life.
