My pills?
Another milligram off the 'weight' pills - the doctor rang this morning after my blood test yesterday. Only another five milligrams (months) to go. And then all that weight gain over the last year should (theoretically) fall off me. Can't weight wait.
My new fangled iPhone with my new fangled calendar is proving to be fallible. Or, more to the point, my entries are often haywire. I already had the wrong date for lunch this week, and today I had the wrong time for a hospital appointment. I mean, the really wrong time! It was at 8am, but my diary said 1:30pm!! Had to ring and apologise profusely. It also had a hotel booking for October on a different day from what the hotel had in their diary! Just as well JR rang to check. There must be a little gremlin who resets my very careful calendar entries. But I'd better just double check those October holiday dates...
Bailey's mum came to take Archie up the Hill this morning. Her arrival is eagerly awaited by Archie, up at the window - then he goes crazy barking. And when they arrive back, they're both yapping all the way down the street.
If JR and I are in different rooms, and both think Archie is with the other, he spots his chance, and gets up to mischief - stealing the washing, chewing envelopes, remote controls, pencils (a favourite). Even, one time I was in the shower - relaxing on the bed, which is out of bounds! He will often come and stand in front of us, with the contraband in his jaws, looking guilty. But if he's got a particular favourite, say, a letter from the coffee table, he will hide behind the sofa and quietly rip it up. Unseen from the door, but clearly reflected on the TV screen. DUH!
This morning he picked up his pill bag from the coffee table and appeared, looking rather guilty, at the kitchen door with it! Possibly saying, 'You really should not have left this where I could reach it, mum.' And he stood there while I got my camera.
He's a laugh a minute, this dog!
