Friday..

..I do (of course) agree that it is only sensible to bring the milk from work home,  if everyone is going to be out of the office and it shall otherwise go to waste.
But when I saw it sitting on the worktop next to my elevenses mug, I really thought I'd never seen a less appetising bottle of milk in my life!
If it had 'samples' written on it, it could hardly look worse.
(But then I never fancy lemon curd because that second word doesn't sound very appealing to me either).

There were nature shots today.
There was a goldcrest who whistled in a most friendly way (and came down from on high to look me over - obviously I'd have blipped him if the capture had been decent enough).
There was also a hoverfly enjoying a ray of sunshine (as they do) who came to peer at me (as they do).
'Hello', I said and held my hand aloft in the sunshine. The hoverfly landed on my hand (as they usually don't) to my pleasant surprise.
I took that as 'hello back'.

I expect you might notice that the red wine forecast is looking particularly clear for this evening :-)
(I'm not usually quite as ready at elevenses time. Honestly!)
