A late night in Bath

I've been at a conference at the University of Bath. After the usual conference dinner in the evening I was expecting an early night, but colleagues at Northumbria University and Liverpool John Moores University had other ideas, so a couple of taxis were ordered and into the city centre we headed.

Bath seemed fairly quiet for a Thursday night so after we'd tried a couple of pubs I thought we'd be heading back to the university. But no. The only place we could find to get another drink was a gay karaoke bar. We eventually got back at 3.00am much the worse for wear.

This photo was taken much earlier in the evening before things started getting messy. I'll certainly remember this conference, but probably not for the right reasons.
