Hen run

The day started with a hen run. About 20 of us (2 blokes included) went out running along by the river in Peebles dressed in pink wigs (the boys) pink bunny ears, pink tutus, pink boas, and pink running gear. It was a very enjoyable social run through woods and through a very dark railway tunnel. We finished at the Caldwells ice cream parlour on Peebles high street where I took this mirror blip. We had our photo taken by a few folk who seemed particularly intrigued by us - were we on our way home from a very long night out or were we at the beginning of a long day? Nice just a morning hen run :-D

The rest of the day was spent pootling in the garden - cleared the peas, A and A built a wall-path for the kids to use in their games. The kids played. J had stayed the night and left just before lunch. Spent the evening drinking wine and playing boardgames.
