Gloomy weather

It was so dark at 5pm today that I had my car lights on! Across the fields the sky was heavy, and the temperature was just 15 degrees. And it is still early September!
These fields belong to a farmer who rents his farm from Surrey County Council. When he took it over it was run down and unprofitable. He built it up as a children's visiting farm and now it is always busy, especially at lambing time.
