Retirement...not mine...

...my husbands!  Today was M's last working day and he enjoyed a wonderful send off from his work friends who he will greatly miss.  Now he can join me in not setting the alarm in the mornings (although I've no doubt he'll still wake up before 7am as usual).
We start a new chapter in our lives, with a move to a new part of the country.  A chance to indulge in lots of coastal walking, bird-watching and conservation volunteering (once we've unpacked and sorted the new house, and then we look forward to welcoming our friends to visit).

So much to look forward to...we can't wait!!
