Metropolis

The tide has turned and the whitebaiters are arriving behind where blipmate and I are standing at the mouth of the Riwaka River.
This could be the English Channel or Cook Strait with a large freighter going across Tasman Bay to Port Nelson and a helicopter from the Motueka Air College practicing over the mudflats. Big Rock looks rather splendid against the sun.
A stunning day to be out and about early. I have mowed lawns and made salads for tea.Now ready for a read.
