A water feature

I wouldn't mind it in my back yard but it is at the estuary. It is a pipe letting the tide flow into an inlet and someone or somehow another piece of pipe or maybe a rock has been stood up and the water hits that and flows over it. I think it probably only happens on exceptionally high tides like today.
Anyway a couple of images to show different speed effects.
I always did like playing with water.
A question- am I right that the point of focus is the water that is rushing?
That is where I aimed for anyway.
