Chaffinch.

This male Chaffinch came to the feeding table today and got stuck into the various seeds  which were there. I always thought that these birds were seed feeders but apparently, their young are fed exclusively on insects.  According to Wikipedia, Chaffinches are very popular cage birds in other European countries. Personally, I think that no bird should be caged, but I am sure many people would disagree with me on this matter!
