Bowling

I had planned a day at Willows today as Will has been asking for ages but it was wet this morning, so we decided to postpone. I managed to book ( or thought I had) an lane for bowling in Stevenage at 12.00 using vouchers from C's bday party. However when we arrived there was no record of the booking (I later checked the email to find they had booked me into an alley in Glasgow!) but they squeezed us in. Halfway through the first game we had to move lane as our died, but the kids had great fun and worked well together too.

After (a late) lunch Will 'composed' a tune as part of his violin homework and then we split them up. Jim went out for his walk with Will and a bike for company, Carys and I headed to Hitchin to look for some shireseal. We pick up a geocache on the way.

Carys was very excited that it was the Strictly launch show tonight. Three weeks to the start. We let her stay up for the whole show. Fingers crossed that doesn't backfire tomorrow.
