Welcome home....

I made a very leisurely start to the day after a fantastic great-to-be-back-in-my-own-bed sleep.  As I sat and drank coffee the very distinctive call of this chap drifted to me.  It's unusual to find tuis around home so I did what I could to capture him.  Not brilliant (he was on the other side of the bush hence the blurred branches running through him) but good enough.

Had intended to do some catch-up school work today but domestic chores and a few power naps got the better of me.
