Tough Game

Long day too. It's the crunch end of the tournament and nerves are getting a little frayed. And so it was today.

Good day still though - the play has been super hot. The team in blue bibs here played a great game to narrowly take out the B Grade final. Such a great final it was too.

The A Grade final was being contested between my school and a St Margaret's from Christchurch. Sadly, it didnt' quite turn out to be the spectacle that the B Grade final had been with us going down a huge 16 goals in the first quarter but never managing to peg back more than one or two. Final score was 26-45 so a 16-goal first quarter loss and a 19 goal game loss says thing swere alot more even in the remaining threee quarters. Such a pity about the first quarter. Second in the South Island is still pretty good - and there's always next year!

Early start tomorrow to take Kate to the airport.
