We were both woken early, probably by the party of drunks coming back to another building in the development around 05:45. So got up and after some strong coffee I departed home-wards, leaving poor D contemplating doing a bit of much needed vacuuming in the shared house.

It was a lovely drive - not much traffic and the weather was glorious. I decided to head off the motorway at Moffat and come via the Grey Mare's Tail (see extra pic) and Innerleithen. Realised too late that the combination of fine weather and it being Sunday would bring out the MAMILs in droves/flocks/bevvies......still, it was worth it to come over the hill and see the Forth valley laid out before me.
