Indian Summer?

Glorious sunny day all day and initially thought of going out somewhere - but where?  After all the gadding about with our recent visitor, we were all out of original ideas, so decided to stay at home and enjoy our own garden for a change:-)

We had lunch al fresco (when were we last able to do that?), dried two lots of washing and sat and read the papers all afternoon.  Bliss!

During a quick wander round the "estate", I spotted the two butterflies in my Extras.  One is a Peacock on the very last of the buddleia and the other is a small Copper on a dead sycamore leaf.  Signs of summer and autumn in one - must be the Indian Summer we were promised:-)
