Sunday

The good thing about Sunday lunch is that it lasts until teatime.  Well, it actually began with marinating the beef two days ago, then slow cooking it yesterday, cooling it quickly and re-cooking it again today. N did a lovely salmon starter and Dauphinoise potatoes to go with the main with loads of garlic and cream. And who better to share it with than the Mays.  We ate, we drank, we laughed, we screwed up our faces and railed against the evils of the world, then drank and laughed some more, grateful for all that we have in life until, suddenly, it was 6.30pm and lunch was over!  Pic is of Sousceyrac in the Sunday morning sun as we wandered over to the boulangerie for our bread.
