Great Orme

Today we walked 15 miles around the coast of Wales. We left Colwyn Bay, clambered over Little Orme to Llandudno, where we dropped our bags off and had a lunchtime shandy. We then continued along the coastal path round Great Orme (stopping off for some excellent lemon merange pie), and on to Llandudno Junction.

The weather was much better than forecast and the drizzly, gusty conditions actually made for pretty good walking. The scenery was incredible, and the sea looked so inviting. We spotted a seal along the way, and too many birds and goats to count.
