Ready for take-off ...

Burj Khalifa - the Khalifa Tower in Dubai,  apparently the tallest structure in the wolrd, glowing in the afternoon sun as if it's ready for take-off. I went on the hop-on hop-off bus together with a friend to see the Palm district and go to the Atlantis  "Lost Chambers' Aquarium. The aquarium had wonderful displays. The busride was long, and the main impression is again lots of building going on, it's all clean and well maintained but it's a bit soulless and so dusty. The high rise in the city state's financial centre is spectacular in any case. Oh, and if you ever suddenly are in need of some gold, Dubai has a gold atm for those precious moments, gold to go :-)  See the extra !
