You Know I love you Boy

Today is my first born's birthday. 

He's 24, but in my mind he is forever my highly excitable, chatty, energetic, non-stop, ball of energy of 6. 

I haven't seen him in the flesh now for a year and a bit, and he hasn't been home in Town for over 2 years;  so when my phone went and said "video call" and I saw his wee face I well nearly burst into tears. 

The first thing I said to him was "What's all this with the beard", to which I heard a response in the background, "Thank you, thank you"... His eyes rolled, and I said "I think it's lovely". .....  ha ha ha  But then said to him, "you are pulling it all the time".  

So when he sent me this "birthday shot" of him and Gal, I was delighted to see him all skin and essence.   It's "Labor Day" in the USA so they are chilling - heading out for Brunch I think.    Aren't they looking great?   

Boy is working full time at the University he graduated from, in Admissions, and Gal has just started as a PE and Health Education Teacher, and Volleyball coach at a local high school.  Aren't they doing well - we are hoping that we will get over and see them next year....
