Baling

Harvesting and straw collection in full swing around here taking full advantage of the drier weather.

The main shot today is the baling machine busy whirring away around the field. The first extra is the machine that was piling up the straw left behind by the combine ready for the baling machine.

Our granddaughter arrived to stay for a couple of nights whilst Mum is away at a conference - so time for blipping may be a bit restricted
for a couple of days!

It was very clear today and I have included a shot as the third extra which shows Oglethorpe farm and in the distance just below the horizon and above the chimney you can see Kilburn White Horse on the North Yorkshire Moors - it is 23 miles away!
