Common Sandpiper
I was looking over the sand flats from the bridge at Qurum and spotted this Common Sandpiper. I've been reading up on these birds and that they can easily be recognised by the strong "hook" of white on its flank & by the way it bobs it's head & swings it's tail. This is also a noisy bird but I love it's ringing call. It's definitely a Common Sandpiper!
