50p rose

When we first moved into this house in 1996 the previous owners had dug out most of the decent plants. As we had viewed it in Jan and moved in April so we couldn't prove what was where!

I bought 2 roses for £1 off a sale table to fill a couple of gaps. 19 years later they both still bloom beautifully. This is my favourite. I don't know what it is called but it makes me think of a bridal bouquet.

Thank you for your comments and memories about fires yesterday. We have continued to feed the fire all day but we will now let it die down.
