The past or the future?

Great talk at the Camera Club tonight by Rob Halliburton, one of our members. He has been a keen photographer for years but his enthusiasm was rekindled big time when he rediscovered film.  He has numerous cameras and often takes 4 or 5 out with him on a shoot. He is using as much old film as he can get his hands on and makes his own developing fluid using coffee, soda, salt and I can't remember what else!

The big beast in my photo is a Franken camera, which I think means it was constructed from more than one camera. The lens is from a bomber.

Earlier today I took Mum to Stanley for an outreach clinic from Sunderland Eye Infirmary. We wanted an opinion as to whether her vision can be improved at all. The consultant was delightful and very business like and efficient. More tests are required and then advice about ways to help.

I made a chicken curry using some of Margret's apples. Delicious.
