Surreal dreams?
I went on a good walk today: 10 easy miles north of Hadrian's Wall. Most of the route was on forest paths, so we did not have to tackle the bogs that are common in the area. 19 of us were out today.
Towards the end of the walk we arrived at Burnt Divot and the Jolly Drovers pub. The latter is now derelict but was said to be a place of refreshment for the drovers, en route south with their cattle.
There is a fine window looking south but it was misty today so I've popped in a close up of one of the mosses from the area.
Back at home I've spent most of the evening sorting out Bob's laptop. It had popups, malware and viruses all playing happily. Earlier in the day he was offered the chance to phone a help line which he did, but became suspicious when he was told that he needed to pay £79 to have the computer cleaned. (What shall I charge!!)
Then I had another go at photographing the tiny 18th century writing on a piece of furniture. No joy despited trying very different lighting.
