Curtain

Heidelberg Castle - fantastic! Much of the castle is ruined, thanks to the 30-year war, but there is a lot of restoration work going on. It also houses the largest wine barrel in the world - you need to climb two flights of stair to get to look at the top of it! This curtain features the local coat of arm, and is in the entrance to the barrel store.

Headed out of town and down into the Black Forest. Time to chill, before hitting the roads again for the next stage of the road trip.
