Wales Millennium Centre

I'd seen so many iconic pictures of Cardiff's Millennium Centre that the building disappointed in the flesh. The metal tiles seemed dull and lifeless despite the evening sun peeping through the clouds. But then I found just the right place to stand and the facade lit up with a golden glow.

I processed this image with Snapseed on the iPad. I'm sure I can do something subtler in Lightroom when I get home.

Update: This is the Lightroom version. Only slightly different from the snapseed version I uploaded first, but without a nasty blown mess of highlights.
