So straight into a team meeting; never a great way to come back to work after a long weekend. All bad news, too. All corporate babble bullshit. Made the contrast between the wide open spaces and the sunshine and the freedom all the more acute.

I stuck it out in the office til lunchtime and then to mediation - intake meeting. So I did a 30 minute run through where we're at. I'm sure she wasn't shocked by it, but there were times when she looked like she might have been...!

Home for the afternoon, but gave up at 4; no enthusiasm at all.
Shopped and photographed and then pottered in a distracted, exhausted way. Ankle still  swollen and tender.
