First boat trip of the year at Oslo fjord for blip
Today has been a very nice day. We woke up to an amazing sunny day. I had to go to court and my wife drove me down so she could go for a wander to get her days Blip (blip-aholic) in Oslo. My trial ended up in a quick settlement, so I was finished already by 11:30 am.
I phoned my wife and suggested that we should pick up the kids early from kindergarden and take the boat out on the Oslo fjord.
Oslo is amazing as it has so much to offer. You have the forest for fantastic cross country skiing and several downhill opportunities in the winter. In the summer you can enjoy lots of beaches, numerous islands to visit, not forgetting the fantastic scenery of Oslo fjord itself. In the summer as the rest of the year you could of course also enjoy the forest with endless of treking or mountain biking opportunities. (more to come about Oslo, later)
We took the boat out to a popular bay called "middagsbukta" (dinner bay), in weekends and sunny days you could walk accross from boat to boat, so todays Blip photo shows a quiet day in terms of boats.... believe it or not.
As we had ankered up for a swim with our girls, two Swans came along. My Blip-aholic wife could not let the chance of some good shots go by. She told me that a Swan could break a mans leg, so be carefull.... still challenging our 5 year old to feed and attract the Swans as close as possible for a good photo.... a true blip-aholic.
Notice the shadow of the Swan....
See you tomorrow !
