That time we ate Guinea Pig!

This one meal deserves its own blog entry! Guinea Pig (in Spanish know as Cuy) is a Peruvian delicacy, and for the last month in Peru we have been meaning to try it. However have been put off by comments from others on how disgusting it was. So on our last day in Peru we decided to bite the bullet and go for it....
We were pleasantly surprised :-) it was OK, I wouldn't say the most delicious thing we've eaten but not the worst! The meat is similar to chicken but very fatty! We even sucked the meat off its little legs haha. At the end we concluded that Cuy definitely falls into the "must try everything once" bucket!
