Last stop in Peru!!

The floating islands of Lake Titicaca are a massive tourist attraction in Puno, Peru, and one of those "must see" items! The indigenous people have built hundreds of small floating islands from the reeds in the lake. While the islands are very impressive, it feels like your walking on a water bed. The 'island' life the ladies demonstrate is obviously put on for the tourists but entertaining at least. We also visited another island on the lake taking in the local culture and eating freshly caught rainbow trout for lunch! That night we enjoyed a couple of glasses of red wine to warm up as temps got to -3 degrees at night.
