Farewell Harry
I only had a short day as I took a half day to attend HC's funeral. It was almost a year since I was at the crem for B's funeral. All went well. The service was secular, simple and beautiful. He was 87, a warm, generous and caring man. His lovely widow was stoic. They were so lucky to have had each other since they were in their twenties.
It was good to see a few old friends whom I haven't seen for a couple of years too.
Having booked a half day to attend the funeral, I then did a bit of Christmas shopping for the bubs in Stony as well as having a nice coffee and buying a few books.
I'm on my own tonight as everyone is out. I made this gorgeous pea soup for my lunch tomorrow and have been chilling out in front of the box with 'Suits'. I'm planning to watch a new series called 'Hunted' too.
