Painting Birthday Plates for Beverley

Sand Traveller (Desert Camel) and I, plus another friend spent the afternoon painting plates as a belated Birthday present for our friend Beverley. She had a party with all the ladies painting plates for her a couple of weeks ago, but we missed it, so we are doing "catch ups". It was a lovely afternoon, as we had lunch first whilst we chose our colors and discussed what designs we would be using. We must have been painting for over 4 hours! It is great fun and makes a lovely and very personal present. I'll blip the finished plates in a week or so after they have been fired.
