Traditional togs

This shop is the place to go to buy traditional Asturian costume. To the left are the felt slippers, to be worn inside wooden clogs. To their right are soft leather shoes for dancing.

The ladies dress often features ornamentation made out of jet. Local jet is some of the finest in the world and many local crafsmen work it. The emblematic Asturian men's hat is a cap with a triangular peak pointing up on one side.

The carving in the middle shows cider pouring, the Asturian way.
